I mean, honestly, where do people get off saying such things? It sounds like something from a soap opera, not a respectable news program like C-SPAN. Back in my day, if you had a grievance, you’d write a polite letter to the editor, or at most, you’d gossip about it over the phone, not shout it for the whole world to hear!

Honestly, I just wonder what kind of tea Darrell was sipping that morning! To publicly tell a mother to hide her children from their own grandfather, no matter who he is, just seems a bit... over the top, don't you think? What ever happened to simply disagreeing?

What Actually Happened (According to the News, Anyway)

Alright, alright, let's get down to brass tacks, as your grandpa used to say. So, this Darrell fellow, a self-proclaimed Democrat from Georgia, called into C-SPAN's "Washington Journal" program. He was quite vocal, bless his heart.

He told the host, Mimi Geerges, that his top story for the year was indeed the "Epstein files." Then, he just launched right into it, advising Ivanka Trump and Lara Trump to "please hide the grandbabies" and to "not let these grandbabies go around Papa, Papa Trump."

He explicitly stated, "because we all know he's a pedophile." Darrell wasn't just stopping there, either. He also warned C-SPAN itself about potential "censorship" from the Trump administration, specifically mentioning FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr.

He seemed quite convinced that "Trump and the rest of them clowns over there" would try to shut C-SPAN down, but he hoped they'd "stand strong and let us keep on calling in."
